Last year there were thieves that were going around and would either stal whole coolers, or rummage through private coolers, and take what they wanted.

Yes, these to brilliant slack-jawed Mouth Breathers were appearently caught red-handed with the ill-gotten goods.

Lets all do our part to clean up the Grounds for this year.  And begin making it a Not-so-good-time for tose who would want to make it un-fun for the rest of us.

My friends came to town from Tennessee this past weekend and I got to see them, Abadon (sp) and Pandora. Abadon I regrettably did not see too much of as he had other people to see. Pandora did so, But some of those were in Katy too I took her out there. We had a blast hanging out...

I get sooo many comments on all the things that I do for my friends. The things I do, I do because these people are my friends, in some cases they mean as much or more to me than family. So I am no slouch on a computer (obviously as I can do this thing that I am doing now...) and as any one who knows a considerable amount about computer can tell you, there is no shortage of people who ask for help.

Okay for those who keep up, you all know that I was very ill last week. I mean I was sicker than a dog!!! So I get this call for help regarding a friend's computer. Now I work in North Houston, right on the beltway. I live 35 Driving Miles from work in Pasadena, South East of Houston. About 45 to 60 % of my friends live in Katy which is Dead West of Houston, better then 40 miles from where I live.

Just to give you an idea:

Those who live in and around Houston would know what it is like to go to Katy around 5 pm on a weekday. There is just no getting through it in and thing remotely resembling a decent time frame. I would not be able to work on the computer when I was actually IN Katy for other reasons, because these people were going to be out of town. So I made the suggestion that the sick computer be taken to a place, (on that side of town ) that I was planning on being at while they were away. The Owner of the computer said "Okay" to this.

So, like I mentioned at the top, My friends came in from Tennessee. Pandora was eager to see our friends who were still in town that were not able to go to Scarborough Faire. So Sunday night, I cooked dinner here at the house and after having to do some household repairs that came up unexpectedly. The we headed out to Katy. The Fist thing I asked when we got there was, "Did the computer get dropped off?" I was told "No." So I figured that it was not that dire of an emergency.

Today I was at work. I was in the middle of printing and processing thirty tickets all at the same time. So needless to say, I was some what busy. I get a phone call from the Friend who wanted the help. Wanting me to go to Katy today after work. ANYONE in Houston knows that f you can avoid going to Katy during evening rush hour traffic. It can take a 45 min drive and turn it into a three hour tour.

I tried to be polite and explain that I was not able to make it, and I may have sounded not completely like I was paying total attention. After all I WAS At Work and had made it clear that I was handling 30 tickets at the same time.

Well Next thing I know, She gets all exasperated and stuff. Tells me to "Just forget it" and hangs up the phone! Like I did something wrong! Geeze Maloo Where does she get off trying to make me feel lower than whale snot because I am unable to make it clear across town?

Oh!!! and my Nomad MP3Player is broke

Last week, was not feeling up to snuff on Tuesday so I called into work, Went in on Wednesday. Got up on Thursday morning not feeling well, went to work anyway got a ticket on the Hardy Toll Road, (so effectively I was a I was a schnook three fold and payed for it three times I just realized this in retrospect.(payed for the toll road twice, and have to pay the Lawyer for the ticket)) and on top of all that... ended up leaving work early because of Illness.

But I got two of the three days paid for, and all so something is working out...

Many People have wanted to know my aversion to the My Space Community and things of that nature. I have not been able to get my true feelings across with out sounding like a total hypocrite, but for the benefit of those out there that have been pestering me on this I will try....

It is the use, (or mis-use) of the Friends List by some people. Now do not get my wrong, Networking, especially in this community, is a fantastic idea. But I am very picky as to whom I will consider a friend. Just because you get a notice or regularly peruse the members’ list for more people to add to your list does not make these people your “Friends.” These are defined as “Extended Contacts,” People who are not in regular contact with you, who have no effect on your state of being.

It really dulls my brass to think that people think that just because I am on their list I want to be bothered with the drivel and tripe that they spew about world about what they are selling, how many people are their friends, and so – on. I do not add people to my list who I feel may try to sell me something on a regular basis. If I wanted to be assailed with spam and advertisements, I would disable all of my pop-up blockers; remove all of the Anti-Spyware, Ad-Ware, and Mal-Ware software packages I have on my network.

So… NO!!!

• I do not want to buy your stuff
• I have My OWN Sword Dealer; In fact I AM one myself.
• I am picky about my clothes for fests; if I see your stuff on some one else I will ask them where they got it.

While I understand that you have a need to advertise your stuff, and to promote YOU in general, do not use MY contact lists to do so… You will be removed…..
